The problem

Life in Alberta moves fast. Work, school, family, community. Most of us are juggling more than we let on. And at some point, it can all become too much.

One in five of us will face a mental health problem in any given year, and by age 40, half of us will have experienced one that number climbs to one in two. These aren't statistics about other people, they're about your neighbours, your coworkers, your family. Probably you.

The solution

Every Albertan deserves access to effective, barrier-free support, and Counselling Alberta makes that possible.

We offer evidence-based counselling with the best client results in the industry. Plus, we have no waitlist, no session limits, and no financial barriers.

With support from the Government of Alberta, we provide:

  • Online counselling for anyone in the province, including those in rural and remote areas

  • In-person counselling in Brooks, Calgary, Edmonton, Fort McMurray, Grande Prairie, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, Red Deer, and Vegreville.

We help individuals, couples, and families learn the tools and skills to take on life’s challenges with confidence.

Counselling works, and the sooner you get help, the better and faster the results are.
